Zebrafish Capital is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Dr. Tarika Vijayaraghavan, founder of Trove Biosciences and a PhD in molecular biology. With a background in cellular agriculture, microbial fermentation, and functional food systems, Dr. Vijayaraghavan brings a technical lens to emerging opportunities in the sustainable food, ag and biomaterials sector.

Through this collaboration, Trove Biosciences will support Zebrafish Capital in identifying and exploring areas of scientific and technical relevance. The focus will be on aligning foundational research with practical insights that can inform future decision-making.
Key Areas of Collaboration:
- Scientific Evaluation & Pathway Consulting: Trove will offer technical advice on Zebrafish’s ongoing projects in food and biomaterials.
- Industry Research & Trend Analysis: Joint studies on fermentation proteins, functional ingredients, raw material alternatives, and biomanufacturing.
- Co-incubation & Technical Validation: Early-stage experimental design, performance testing, and pilot feasibility analysis to support prototype development, where applicable.

The two parties have already begun discussing specific product pathways and plan to involve third-party institutions, universities, and corporate clients to create closed-loop testing
environments.
Broader Goals:
Zebrafish Capital aims to leverage its cross-border network to facilitate international collaboration, especially between Asian startups and North American markets. Trove’s ecosystem includes its own research platform and connections with Canadian institutions, enabling deeper cooperation in pilot testing, raw material integration, and regional incubation.
This partnership reflects Zebrafish Capital’s commitment to bridging science and real-world application, ensuring that technologies are not only innovative but also practical and scalable.
