Temasek Polytechnic, directly under the Ministry of Education of Singapore, is one of the most comprehensive colleges in Singapore, with five major faculties including the School of Business, School of Applied Science, School of Information Technology, School of Design, and School of Engineering.

Based on the concepts of "safety, green, controllability, and substitutability", Temasek Polytechnic has a world-leading academic and industrial influence in the fields of future food, artificial protein, healthy food, low-carbon technology, and green infrastructure.

Temasek Polytechnic and Zebrafish Capital signed a memorandum of cooperation, and the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in the following areas:

(1) Conduct "industry-university-research" integrated project cooperation to address industry challenges in agricultural food technology, applied nutrition, integrated facility management, and any emerging research fields;

(2) Assist agricultural (food) start-ups and SMEs in technology transfer, scale expansion, and the commercialization of innovative and marketable solutions;

(3) Cooperate in project areas focusing on sustainability, renewable energy, green building practices, and waste reduction;

(4) Cooperate in carbon neutrality strategies and initiatives;

(5) The application of new energy in modern agricultural ecological areas and low-carbon (or zero-carbon) technology solutions;

(6) Promote cooperation and exchanges between Singapore's agricultural (food) enterprises and their Chinese counterparts;

(7) Provide exchange opportunities for students and teaching and research staff in Singapore and China, participate in industry practices, and carry out graduation design projects to enhance their capabilities and enable them to gain first-hand experience of international industry standards and practices.

In this cooperation, the School of Applied Science and the School of Engineering under Temasek Polytechnic are responsible for promoting and implementing. According to the preliminary plan reached by both parties, in the near future, they will jointly cooperate with top domestic scientific research institutes to set up an international agricultural (food) technology cooperation and innovation center in the Yangtze River Delta region, select a pilot test site, and provide technical and talent reserves for subsequent industrialization, equipment, and large-scale production.
